When it comes to the future one of the common themes revolves around the cities that we might live in. For artists this provides an opportunity to add their vision of what they think they will look like. Gary Tonge has such a vision – well many of them – and creates some beautiful images for us to enjoy of those cities.

One of the re-occurring themes in most fantasy works are incredible castles – whether they be on the ground or in the sky. These seven beautiful images; which are a part of a larger collection over at Forcg.com are some of my favorites.

I really like these illustrations by Robert Maschke of what our future cities might look like – good and bad.
