I know things have been pretty quite around here for the past month or so, but stay tuned. "Management" is in the process of changing since the previous operator has become very busy in his other ventures, I wish him the best of fortunes!!

  When first presented with this opportunity, I considered a few serious topics, but you know, there are literally millions of blogs all over the ’sphere, and no way in hell is mine going to make a mark, so I went back to my roots. Entertainment.

   Namely, my own. I’ve always said, I live to entertain myself, if others are amused, all the better. So, my wife and I will use this site as a repository of anything that we find interesting, funny, or thought provoking. Keep us in your reader for a daily few seconds of a laugh or a gem of (snort) wisdom. Maybe a joke, maybe a funny news story, maybe even the occasional rant on politics or religion.

  Be patient, we’ll be up and running with new clothes and a new theme in the next week or so…we hope!!!

There seems to be some problems with the current theme wanting to play nice. Several of the widgets and plugins I am using are having display problems in Firefox and Safari .. even <gasp> in IE it’s not displaying nicely sometimes.

So either during the night (if it gets on my nerves enough) I will be trying to get a new and better behaved  theme in place if I can find one - if not it will probably be tomorrow evening by the time things are the way I want them. My apologies for this slight disruption.

Anyone who has been involved with blogging; or even tasked with coming up with a unique site name, knows how hard it is to come up with just the right name; but when you do it’s almost like an instant high much like after taking a big toke on some dynamite shit.

The problem is that just like after that great toke there is the inevitable fog of what the fuck do we do now, we got this great name but any clue of what to do with it disappears in the cloud of bong smoke.

Such was the case of coming up with the name braincell soup - minus the bong smoke unfortunately. I tried a couple of different ideas but either from lack of enthusiasm or just not getting the traction needed it just languished.

Then the other day I realized that the one area of interest - well maybe more than one - that I really couldn’t freely cover on WinExtra was the fucked up things; whether they be products or events, that go on in our society.

And really with a name like braincell soup what better things to report on and besides I kinda like the idea of the freedom the site will be able to give me (and any other contributors I bring on board to help out). so just to forewarn any potential readers the content here will probably fall into the borderline NSFW category.

So if your are the sensitive type you’ve been warned and may I suggest that you head over to one of those warm and fuzzy eco goodie type sites ’cause braincell soup isn’t gonna be your cup o’ hemlock.

Other than that the site is up and going with content coming to you as soon as we find it - so sit back and enjoy the ride even though it might get bumpy once in awhile.
