I read the above mentioned excerpt on a website called "how to meditate dot com".  

I just don’t get this!  If I’m feeling overly stressed out and over-worked, its not my idea of stress release to sit in an uncomfortable position with my knees in the general vicinity where my boobs should go!  I mean really! 

"Our stress makes us unhappy, impatient and frustrated"? Nooooooooooo.. idiots make me unhappy, impatient and frustrated.  My stress is caused from the piddly-ass wage I make while having to DEAL with the idiots. 

"We are often so busy we feel there is no time to stop and meditate"?  Well of course there’s no time to stop and meditate, unless you count being in rush hour traffic at 5:45 p.m. and gazing up at the sky and saying out loud to yourself.. "you may NOT ram the back of her car to get her to use the long pedal on the right, you may NOT".  Now THAT’S meditation!

I think meditation is over rated.  How many of us would rather wrap our knees around our ears in a quiet field of flowers, or on a mat in our living room and just sit there?  What’s going on outside that you’re missing?  How many kisses could you get in with your spouse or significant other instead of getting a numb tail bone?  How many personal contacts could you make, with another person preferably, instead of listening to the sound of your own breath? 

Meditation………………. BAH!

Talk about living in the dark ages…..

This is a quote from an elected member of congress, Republican Larry Liston earlier this month. The GOP’s are always tooting about "family values". Tell me..how is labeling your daughter a "slut" and sending her off to keep her out of sight promoting "family values"?

   Guys like this don’t deserve to live, in my opinion, much less hold office.

I realize that this wasn’t just an event being held in Toronto but does that mean we have to go along with a stupid idea to begin with.

The thought of looking upon people in a subway car without any pants on isn’t exactly my idea of fun.

The reason for this nonsense?

It was Toronto’s first No Pants Subway Ride.

The reason why this event new to Toronto but happening elsewhere in the world?

"…to get people to think outside of the box…" according to Toronto’s organizer of the event - Suzana Barbosa.

Ya … okay … it’s still a stupid idea.
