Body modification is nothing new. There are the old standby: earrings, then tats, belly button rings, nose rings, and hundreds of other mods that vary from clever to obscene. But a few folks have revived a centuries-old art: scarification aka body carving, practiced by primitive tribes in various ways the world over, now coming to a mod shop near you!

   The artist actually slices off strips of your flesh to produce the permanent image on your skin. The finished art is striking to be sure, but, man, that’s gotta fucken hurt.
