How this got past the picture editors I don’t know but somehow it did and for a short while Bill Ripken’s bat was known for more than hitting balls.

Subsequent issues of the card that were printed had the writing obscured in one fashion or another and the original run of cards with Fuck Face quite visible were classified as error cards.
